Introduction

It’s the middle of February, the time of year to snuggle up under the duvet with a good book and a cuppa. It’s also the time for binging on a Netflix Series or rewatching your favourite movies.

Perhaps you want to try something new and learn more about organising and decluttering. Why not check out YouTube for videos on how to become more organised? There are dozens and dozens of YouTube channels talking about productivity, organising, cleaning and minimalism.

Below are my favourite YouTube Channels to watch on decluttering. Let me know what you think:

Samurai Matcha

Samurai Matcha is the YouTube channel of Japanese school teacher Aki.

Aki is a minimalist living in Japan who makes videos in English on minimalism and Japanese culture.

Well worth watching for anyone into minimalism, tea drinking or anything Japanese.

APDO

APDO stands for – The Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers and is the trade association for anyone working in decluttering and organising in the UK. Founded in 2004, it is a professional community with over 270 accredited experts across the UK.

The APDO YouTube channel has videos created by and for APDO and vlogs from members helping people in the UK with their clutter and organising their homes.

Benita Larsson

YouTube channel in English by Stockholm-based Benita Larsson.

In this channel, Benita presents videos on Minimalism, Organization and the Scandinavian Lifestyle. She shoots most of the videos in her Swedish apartment, but some also feature Stockholm.

Her videos are clear and well-presented and would suit women over 40.

Ruby Granger

UK-based Ruby Granger started her YouTube career while still a school student in 2015. In her well-known YouTube Channel, Ruby talks about study tips, university life, productivity, and her passion for books and tea.

The channel features a broad range of videos in her parent’s house and Exeter, where she was a student.

Simple Happy Zen

YouTube channel started by minimalist Vera in 2017 while recovering from burnout. In this channel, she talks about intentional living, minimalism, mental well-being, and self-care.

Her clear and concise videos represent an excellent introduction to minimalism and intentional living.

Conclusion

The above selection is only a tiny sample of the multitude of channels that you can find on this topic. Perhaps you have come across others not mentioned above. Let me know so I can check them out and include them in a later blog post.
