A New Chapter: Discover the Changes Happening on This Blog

Since the end of 2021, Life Organised has published over 150 blog posts, and it’s time for a change.
In the remainder of this post, I will recap what we have posted on this blog so far and provide an update on the upcoming changes.
Since 2021, I have covered topics as diverse as hoarding, Zero Waste and the Pomodoro Technique.
Decluttering, Minimalism, and Self-Care have been some of my most frequently covered topics, with Minimalism coming in first at 48 articles.
Out of the posts published, seventy-five are shorter than one thousand words, with thirty-six larger.
My readers favour articles on digital Minimalism, Email management, and anything that explains professional organising, as well as how I can help them.
Most of my readers, at 89%, are women, with 11% male. Older people favour my blog, with 26% falling in the 65+ category. Americans and, of course, Brits form the bulk of my readers, with London emerging as the winner in the location battle.
Since September 2023, I have also republished some of my popular blog posts on Medium. Posting on Medium has been slightly haphazard without a real strategy. I want to change this and increase my readership. Posting duplicate content across two platforms seems redundant and somewhat lazy.
So, moving forward, I intend to write smaller and more general posts on my website. Posts such as ‘How to Save Money on Grocery Shopping’ or ’10 Easy Ways to Reduce Waste in Everyday Life’. I also wish to do more reviews of books and YouTube channels.
On Medium, on the other hand, I aim to publish monthly articles that delve into topics in greater depth and cover more technical and geeky topics. I would also like to delve further into the specifics of what others have said about Minimalism, decluttering, and so on. I do not intend to rubbish or denigrate others. Every opinion is valuable. I instead aim to start a debate or discussion on certain aspects where I find disagreement.
