Notice saying Service

Introduction – Services of Life Organised in 2024

You might have read my blog posts for a while and found some valuable tips and tricks. Now you want to take your organisation a step further, as in actually doing it. We’ve all procrastinated about tackling something by doing endless prep, reading articles, and watching videos, but not actually doing it. Maybe you are scared or unable to declutter yourself and want my help.

As I’ve said elsewhere, I work with clients worldwide, provided they have Wi-Fi access and speak either English, German or gibberish. Haven’t mastered Chinese, Sanskrit or Arabic yet, sorry! But what services do I offer? How do we work together? Read on to find out more.

I offer decluttering and organising in four broad areas, which I’ll outline below. But as you are a wonderful and unique individual, I also offer bespoke services tailored to suit your needs. Please feel free to contact me if you like what you read and are ready to commit.

General Decluttering

I offer a general decluttering service, both virtual and in your house. In these three-hour sessions, we do physical decluttering and organising of one specific area, such as your bookcases, wardrobe or paperwork. Some of my clients wish to re-organise their entire house, while others stick to one room or area.

As decluttering can be physically and mentally exhausting, I usually work with clients over a more extended period of several weeks or months. Especially when dealing with sentimental items or after a bereavement, I am there for my clients and provide a listening ear. Additionally, I make great cups of tea if needed; ask my friends!

Many of my clients are older or disabled, and I am happy to do most of the physical lifting. However, I need you to be there for decision-making. I advise on the storage and organisation of someone’s belongings and gently nudge them to part with some of their unused stuff, but ultimately, the decision is always yours.

Digital Declutter

I offer a digital decluttering service, both virtual and in your house. In these three-hour sessions, we declutter your devices to free up space and organise your files to make them run more efficiently.

Depending on the nature of the project, I usually work with clients over several weeks.

Many of my clients are not naturally tech-savvy, so I provide the technical know-how while they decide which files and apps to keep. In the process, many of my clients learn new computer skills, too.

I further offer document scanning, where I digitise your old paperwork and memorabilia. I do this either by coming to your house or taking the documents away to scan in my office.

Photo Organising

Long gone are the days of having to lug a heavy camera around and be mindful not to waste any of your twenty-four pictures on a roll of film. Instead, most people now have a camera in their pockets and are happily snapping away at any opportunity.

While it is great to be able to document your life, most people never do anything with their photos and feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume.

For many years, I have worked in picture libraries throughout the UK, where I organised, digitised and keyworded photos. This makes me uniquely qualified to help you with your personal photo library.

As a photo organiser, I help clients digitise their physical prints, negatives and slides. I digitise using both a camera and a flatbed scanner.

As a photo organiser, I sort physical prints and advise on the best long-term storage.

As a photo organiser, I sort clients’ digital images on their computers, phones and tablets so they can find photos quickly.

As a photo organiser, I delete duplicate photos and prune your collection, leaving you only with well-composed images that truly matter to you.

As a photo organiser, I also create photo books and slide shows so you can share pictures with others.

Productivity Coaching

I have called my business life organised because I want to offer a holistic service of how someone can lead a more organised life.

In addition to decluttering, I provide productivity coaching and advice on leading a more organised life.

I teach people well-known productivity methods, such as the Eisenhower matrix or GTD.

I help people choose a digital or analogue planner and show them how to use it.
