Who is the woman behind the blog part 2?

Professional Organisers come in all shapes and sizes, and so do bloggers. Some of us are old, some of us are black, and some of us are female.

Have you ever wondered what kind of person I am? Read on to find out. Below, I will answer twelve questions about myself.

How Old Are you?

One year older than when I wrote part 1.

Where are your clients based?

My clients are all over the UK, but I could work with anyone with Wi-Fi who speaks English, German or Gibberish.

What is your favourite drink?

Green Tea, Black Tea, Oolong Tea, PuEr Tea, White Tea, Tea, Tea, and more Tea

What do you do when not organising other people’s houses?

I have organised my flat. I am that sad! Joking aside, I love swimming, hiking, and reading.

Do you get rich being an organiser?

While Marie Kondo might be wealthy by now, as in every profession, most of us do not, I shop at Aldi and not Harrods like the rest of you.

How do you stay abreast of the latest developments in your area of work?

I attend training courses and conferences organised by both The Photo Managers and APDO (Association of Professional Organisers and Declutterers).

What is your favourite book?

As an organiser, in addition to The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying by Marie Kondo, which I mentioned last year, it must be Bored and Brilliant: How Time Spent Doing Nothing Changes Everything by Manoush Zomorodi.

Do you watch decluttering programs on TV?

Yes, I do, although some are a bit unrealistic. Decluttering someone’s house can take a long time, as it is often associated with mental health problems.

Do all organisers wear black?

No, you can wear whatever you like and be organised.

---

Do you ever procrastinate?

As a productivity nerd, the answer should be no, but guess what I am human, just like the rest of you. So yes.
